Illegal running of credit card

I attempted to purchase heartworm medication. I gave Allivet my credit card information. Three days later they called to inform me that I would need to upgrade to the higher weight because my vet had suggested it . I called my vet an he denied this. I advised Allivet to cancel the order and thought this was done. Now SIX MONTHS LATER they run my CREDIT CARD for the full amount for the higher weight product . The vet denied the prescription request from Allivet !! Am filing a police report for credit card theft !!

Not worth the hassle

My initial order was for 20 tablets of Benazepril that my dogs' veterinarian had prescribed with 40 refills. My dogs' vet then sent in an authorization to increase the prescription to 100 tablets with refills.

When I went to order, a quantity of 100 tablets, the system sent for authorization from my vet. I called Allivet and also sent a message to their customer service to try to get it straightened out. No luck. My vet sent a second authorization to Allivet for 100 tablets.

I still could not order it. I again contacted Allivet customer service and got nowhere.

Now I've noticed that someone has removed the 40 refills that were for the original order of 20 tablets from my account.

I have four dogs that are just now reaching their senior years. I imagine they will be needing thousands of dollars' worth of prescriptions in the coming years, but Allivet will be getting none of that business from me.

Every time we ordered on auto ship, they either didn't have it, or they stated that it would be shipped to us " next day" shipping. Nothing but lies!!!! These people do not care about your pets. All we got was them stating we are sorry, and that the problem would be taken care of. Please do not use this company for anything!!!! I doubt if they are even in Florida, by the way they speak. RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!!

I have been using Allivet for 4 months, Today is 5/8/20, I have a great Dane with savvier allergies to the point if he misses one day of his medication he breaks out in a rash all over his body and his paws begin to swell to the point he can't walk he is currently on Apoquel the first few order went pretty smooth with Allivet then when I reordered his medication on 4/17/20 they have a 5-10 day shipping I usually allow a few extra days in my dogs medication to make sure he doesn't run out, they sent me the tracking # just like the other times so I was tracking it on the 5th day I noticed the tracking # they sent me was tracking something in the Miami postal office and all is said was Pending waiting approval every day, I called Allivet on the 4/28/20 talked with their customer service and the guy on the phone said he had no idea what was going on and, that he would send it out again and said he would send it 3-5 day shipping he then sent me a receipt to my email with 0 cost on it but no tracking # just an order # RS-0005998 I then was waiting again and had no way to track it, I waited the till Friday the 5/1/20 till I called again at this point it had been 3days but I had no way to track the order when I talked to the customer service person he said he had no idea what was going on with the order I then asked him to speak with a Manager he refused I then asked him to send the medication next day air and he said he would have it sent next day air, I then told him I wanted a tracking # sent to my email and a manager to give me a call I then gave him pm personal cell phone number he said he would have a manager call me and I would have the tracking number shortly in my email, I waited all day for a call from a manager and a tracking # I received neither! I tried to call back but they were closed I had to wait till Monday to talk to someone, at this point my dog had run out of medication and he was broke out in a all over the body rash and his paws were so swollen he was having a hard time walking I then took him to my vet to get him medication and healthy again on Saturday 5/2/20 this was a $230 vet bill with his medication, I then called Allivet again for the third time on Tuesday 5/5/20 because I had not received his medication yet nor did a manager ever give me a call when I called I just so happen to be the same guy I talked to on Friday I aked him why I had not received my dogs medication yet, and why I had not gotten a call from a manager/supervisor yet he then played like he had no idea what I was talking about, he then told me I never called on Friday, 5/1/20 I then asked to speak with a manager he refused again, just like he did on Friday but this time I would not get off the phone, he then put me on hold for about 18 min, another person picked up the phone and claimed to be a manager, I then told him the same story I am telling all of you and he said that there was nothing in the computer for me calling that Friday the 5/1/20 so when I called on that day the customer service guy I talked to never put in that over night shipping and never notified a Manager to call me, I informed him of the issues I have had and that I had an emergency vet visit because of all of this he sad sorry and offered me a $20 coupon, I was so disgusted with the way this company had handled their self I told him to keep the $20 he then told me the medication would be there Wednesday the 5/6/20 I informed him I was never sent any tracking information the medication did show up later that day and after it showed Allivet sent me an email with the tracking information a lot of good it does when it had already arrived I thinking they did it to try to cover their but saying they sent it, I informed the manager I would try to let everyone I know what kind of business they are and how they operate he had no concern or any answers why this all had happened in the first place. the biggest thig for me was being lied to by the customer service call in line telling me they were sending it over night because the previous two attempts faild and then pretending like I never even called. I am a company owner myself and If one of my employees had done something like that I would defiantly be looking in to it, I have all of the emails and phone records to prove it and the manager never even asked, so I have a feeling this is how they operate and this is not the first time this has happened. I will not do business with them again and I encourage anyone considering doing business with them to look elsewhere.

Twice I have mailed paper prescriptions to Allivet and they have claimed they never received them. My bet then would fax the prescription and Allivet would claim it wasn't received. The prices may be good, but it isn't worth the hassle.R

One order last summer had very short expiration dates of about 6 months of shelf life. I accepted that as the prices are low. I ordered two strengths of Nextgard recently, and another non-prescription item. The non-prescription items (same item but more than one) were never sent. They held the order as I needed another strength added to prescription part of order due to weigh of dog. I approved the additional box(s) but order was never sent. Called back and order still on hold and getting emails that there was a problem. No problem, so order cancelled. Flash ahead approximately a week later and I suddenly get notice that the order is shipped without my approval and that it is a recurring order. How does a cancelled order become recurring? Called immediately and it already shipped at a price almost $20 more than the original order even with a discount added (for recurring product) to the order in transit. I go into order online and cannot see a recurring order, just a cancelled order and then the new order shipped. They aren't able to make the price the same as the original. So after an exhausting conversation they sent an order that they would not send originally without additional strength, not approved by me after cancellation, leave off the non-script items, and make a cancelled order recurring. And they have my card on file. Amazing. Let's see what the expiration date is this time. AND I was told I can return for a refund once received, but there was no return authorization sent. They would apply refund to my card. Since they deleted my card on file - hmmmm. Not sure I want to end up paying for something they say they never got as a return or end up paying good money to prove it was returned and then spend hours on the phone trying to get refund. The employee who answered has no authority to make anything right, and when explaining something it is easy to confuse him. The frustration alone is worth buying somewhere else. Check out Walmart's prices and Chewy.com always make the customer happy when something goes wrong.

A question and a problem with REVOLUTION

PROBLEM: Even after pressing the cap down several times the liquid medication will not come out. I have to make a larger hole in the vial top. Question: I noticed that after I use there remains some white residue left on the inside of the vial. Could that be some undissolved medication?

Do not order time-sensitive items from AlliVet

Allivet's pharmacy is not open on weekends, despite paying for 2nd Day Business Air service. Once they receive approval (which took me 6 calls to their business), it takes another 24-48 hours for them to process and ship your order. Their pharmacy closes at 5pm ET even though their site says they are open till 7pm ET. So, after paying almost 50 dollars for 2nd day air on a Thursday, Allivet tells me my order won't go out till Wed or Thurs of the following week. How does that mesh with their shipping page or the copy on the receipt, or their published "open hours" - Do not order from them if something is time sensitive. -- I will never order from them again.

Too slow

Ordered heartworm meds for my 3 dogs. takes two days to log a mailed in script, once the script arrives. Then it takes two days to prepare shipping, then 5-10 business days for shipment to arrive. my script mysteriously never got there as of 10 days from mailing it. They don't ship on weekends. They didn't bother to ship my 3 Soresto collars in the meantime. The Customer service rep was tentative about important information. Other, much better options for this service are out there. No Full Refund Regardless of Pet Passing Away

I ordered some medicine that has helped my pet in the past from another website. Since this was one of the few places that sold the medicine for a cheaper price I ordered from them, and next day shipping also. I am not sure how long next day shipping after placing an order on a Saturday would have been but I received the medicine Tuesday afternoon which I thought was longer than expected. Well that didn't matter as my pet passed over the weekend so I no longer needed to medicine. I called them in an attempt to return the medicine. Well, after paying $22 for next day shipping and $20 for the medicine, I would only get a refund of $16. Not worth the hassle if I can't get a full refund after much grieving. If I walked into any pet store in my area, they would give me a full refund no problem, its bad enough they still have to keep a percentage of the product. I am very disappointed with this company and have no intentions on shopping with them again. A first experience and what a bad one!

I had MY prescriptions on auto refill and when my dr took me off said medicine they online pharmacy my medical insurance covers would NOT refund/return unused sealed meds. So this is indicative of online sales I believe. Not really something to discredit Allivet.com for.

I'm terribly sorry you lost your pet, that is never easy and you have my condolences. A few points.

First, it really depends on what time you placed your order on Saturday as to whether your package would ship Saturday or Monday. Most companies have a scheduled pickup time, so any orders placed after, let's say 4:00pm for example, will ship the following business day which, in your case, would be Monday. Taking that into consideration, you did indeed receive your package next day. As no company has the slightest control over the USPS, that is an issue you'd have to take up with the Postal Service.

Second, you really can't fairly compare an online return to taking an item back to your local pet store. From the sound of it, you did receive a full refund minus your shipping and a minimal restocking fee. Most all online retailers have a clearly stated return policy which will explain the restocking fees. This exert is from Allivet's Return Policy: "In the highly unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Allivet (with the exception of prescription drugs and vaccines), we will gladly accept your return for an exchange or a refund.

Kindly return your unused, unopened items in their original box and/or packaging in new condition within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Please note that all returned item(s) are subject to 15% restocking fee and shipping charges on returned items are non-refundable." As horrible as losing you pet was, it is unfair to expect the company to do anything more than they clearly state they will do.

Just for the record, I am in no way shape or form affiliated with Allivet, I'm just a long time online shopper who also runs a small online farm business, and as such, have extensive experience regarding such matters.
